RAW INK MAGAZINE

THE PROJECT
Raw Ink Magazine grew out of the creative passions of myself and two journalist friends. We publish stories on creative events and people in the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas.  In the short two years that we have been publishing, we’ve released over twenty four issues with over two thousand readers for each. We have interviewed creatives such as Ben Quilty, Katie Noonan, Yayoi Kusama, Blue Juice, Shida, The Medics, and Wes Carr, and had the privilege of covering events such as Woodford, The Surfer’s Paradise Festival and Splendour in the Grass. I was invited to speak about the magazine to 150 students at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE.

MY PART IN THE PROJECT
As well as being a founder of the publication, I work on all the branding, page layouts, social media and web graphics for the magazine. I have also been asked to be a guest speaker at the Gold Coast Institute of TAFE where I talked to 150 students about the magazine.
